Pattern Description: Tight fitting leggings with elastic waist and three cutting lines for bike shorts, capris, and ankle length leggings. Close fitting, hip length, slight V neck, sleeveless tee. One-piece sleeveless bodysuit with V back.
I cut this out early this year and didn't like the sizing so it sat for the last five months and I decided to finish it in the UFO contest.
Pattern Sizing: Leggings 4-22. XS-XL for tank and bodysuit. In the past I could wear the size small in this line of patterns but with some weight gain over the last few years I went ahead and cut out a medium. It ended up being too big so I had to take it about 1/2".
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? It's a line drawing so not so much. I also rounded the front neck since I'm not a huge fan of V's.
Were the instructions easy to follow?I didn't even look at them. But Christine always write great instructions!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Easy to sew. Living in Arizona I need lots of sleeveless tops. I never seem to have enough so I'm on a quest for one that fits the way I like so I can make a dozen of them. This one doesn't quit work for me.
Fabric Used: Novelty rayon-lycra print that I bought from EOS many years ago.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I changed the neck from V to rounded and took it it about 1/2" from about 5" below the armhole to the top of the armhole tapering of course.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I won't sew this one again as it's not quite what I'm looking for but I would still recommend it to others.
Conclusion: Easy to sew and if you can get the fit you like it might work for you. I'm sure I'll wear this one around the house. The print is a bit much so probably I wouldn't wear it in public anyway.
