Pullover dress has fitted bodice cut on the bias and no right side seam, and left side zipper. Bias, self-lined cummerbund has hook & eye closure. Pattern Sizing:
I cut out a size 12. It comes in sizes 6 - 22 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, very much so! Were the instructions easy to follow?
This is a great beginner pattern if you are going into the vintage pattern arena. The instructions were really easy to follow. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I loved being able to work with the print on the fabric with the pattern design. I also loved sewing up a cummerbund. Nothing to dislike. Fabric Used:
I bought a vintage reproduction cotton that I found at Spotlight. So stoked to find something that went with this dress so well! Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I shortened the dress so it fell just under my knees and took it in a little bit at the waist. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I think I might sew up the alternative version of this pattern which has a boat neck. I really love how this turned out and would recommend to anyone who loves a bit of vintage. Conclusion:
Happy with the outcome and love an excuse to wear it.
