Dress in two lengths with sleeve and contrast variations has side seam pockets; dress A, C, E, F shown with purchased belt.
8-14. I made a straight size 12.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, the instructions were pretty easy to follow. The only confusing part was the lapel collar which wasn't explained very well. I used a few online tutorials to figure out what they actually wanted you to do.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the collar, the options for the skirt lengths, and the options for the different sleeves (sleeveless or THREE different options!). I was comparing this pattern to the Colette Hawthorn and I much prefer this collar over the Hawthorn which doesn't really speak to me.
Cotton Swiss Dot
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
None. I realized after finishing it and taking pictures that there was a lot of extra fabric in the back which I'll have to alter for my next version. Fabric Bunching
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I am already planning to make a fall plaid flannel version in 3/4 sleeves, just need to find the right fabric! And I would recommend it - it fits well and is very versatile for all seasons!
Great pattern! More details on my blog.
