Thanks for the review, and the source for the hardware. Does the bowtie actually tie around the neck, or is it premade and fastened at the back with a clip? If it does, could you wrap the small section around the bow and then hand sew it together? I'm looking at a silk bowtie, and that's how it was made.

I wear a bow tie everyday and I have made a lot of bow ties. You can find the hardware from www.bblackandsons.com. Very reasonable and ships very quick. Also they have cumberbund hardware and clips for old fashioned bowties.
