This is an OOP pattern for a big guy/ little guy shirt, shorts, and hat. It looks very similar to Simplicity 5581. It runs from Children's Size 3-8 and from Men's Size Small to XX Large. All sizes are in one envelope. I've only made the shirt, but I've done it 6 times for adults and 7 times for little boys.
My guys are tall and skinny so I usually add length. It is not a fitted shirt.
There are side slits and 4 buttons with horizontal buttonholes. I like this kind of casual collar but I think there must be a better way to finish it. The facings extend to the shoulder seams. The inside edge of the collar is clipped and folded under then slip-stitched. The pieces fit together well.
I put the pocket on last so I can match it with the print.
It looks really cute to see the little grandsons wearing shirts that match their daddy. This is for those people who need to see that sewing for boys is fun too.
