|Pattern Description: Misses' pyjamas and jumpsuit have zipper opening on front, elastic in casing at waist and ribbing neckband and cuffs. View A has feet (!). View B has ribbing cuffs at the bottom of the legs. I made View B|
Pattern Sizing: XS - XL. I made a medium.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes. Unfortunately.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Well, I made this pattern in response to a request from my daughter to make that Crime Again Taste, the Onesie. Everything about the Onesie is just plain wrong.
Fabric Used: Some sort of polyester, shaggy nightmare.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Lengthened the legs. Omitted the elastic waistband, because with the Onesie the bigger and more unflattering, the better.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Well, the teenage son would like a Onesie, so I might just have to grit my teeth make him one. Don't worry, I'll remind him of the sacrifice until the day I cark it.
As for recommending it to others- heck no. There is enough ugliness in the world as it is without sewists adding to it.
Conclusion: Making this Onesie was duty sewing at its zenith. To read the whole story read my blog post Click Here>
