Pattern Sizing: Size B5 (8-10-12-14-16) I made a size 12 and then I made a second dress using size 12 for the shoulders, neck and sleeves and graded to a 14 for the rest.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, it looked just like the line drawing on the pattern envelope.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the raglan sleeves, the mock wrap, the side gathers and the sleeve ruching. I disliked the collar as a design feature because it dates the dress.
Fabric Used: I used a jersey for both dresses purchased online from The Remnant Warehouse
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: For the first dress I made View A size 12 straight out of the envelope without any changes. Click Here For my second dress I omitted the collar and finished off the neckline with knit binding. I also graded up from a size 12 to a size 14 below the armscyes. Click Here
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I will make this one again. I would like to try View B which has short sleeves for the summer.
Conclusion: This is a really flattering mock wrap dress that is quite easy to make. You really should try it. See more photos on my blog Sew, Jean Margaret
