Cute tops with 4 back variations
I sewed View A with the criss-cross back.
I sewed mine in my usual size straight out the envelope without any adjustments.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
With 2 side seams, 2 shoulder seams & some hemming, instructions are really not necessary.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the criss-cross back showing a little skin at the bottom.
I love how easy & how quick this goes together.
There was absolutely nothing I disliked.
I used a slight stretch cotton stripe.
I cant tell if its a navy & white or black & white stripe but who cares, it looks really cool, especially the back.
I used a llime green thread for the hemming for a little detail of colour.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
No alterations required, however, I omitted the pocket!
I also opted for the plain hemming rather than using bias tape. I think so fun could be had with bias tape though.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would absolutely sew this again....I have plans to sew each of the views at least once
From cut to final press, this top took all of 1 hour exactly so I would highly recommend it too any budding sewer.
If you dont already have this pattern, go & get it!!
