Pattern Description: Misses Jacket, Tunic and Skirt: Pullover tunic has back longer than front, wrong side shows.
Pattern Sizing: XS to XXL I made the Small and the fit is perfect so size-wise I think this pattern is spot-on. I usually wear an 8-10 in tops.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I used a fabric with a little more body to it so it's not as drapey but it looks like the pic anyway.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes they were however there is an omission. After step 4 you need to sew the front to back at shoulder seams. Then step 5 tells you to staystitch the neck edge. Kind of an important step to leave out. LOL
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love a high-low hem and the easiness of a tunic.
Fabric Used: This is a cotton knit from EOS described as 'Italian blue/natural stripe all cotton sweater knit'. I've had this fabric for a couple months. Love, love, love this fabric. It's just beautiful.
I chose to have the top stripes going east-west and the bottom stripes going north-south so it should give me a balanced silhouette even with a wider pant, and a slimming effect anyway.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did no alterations. I did add a 4" strip of staytape to the shoulder area for stabilization.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will definitely sew this again (silk crepe would be fab) and I would recommend it.
Conclusion: This is a great fitting tunic that can be made for all seasons depending on fabric. It's comfy and cute.
I would like to make the little jacket too in maybe an undainty lace.
