But, I foolishly believed mine would be as floaty as the pattern envelope since voile was a suggested fabric.
*Voile has too much body for the pattern yet the voile is light enough that the seam allowance is very visible.
*The collar is extremely fussy. EXTREMELY.
*The facings are poorly drafted (but most facings are).

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I can't say it's a bad pattern...I really want to like this top. I might try this again in a lighter fabric or a knit. I would cut that collar on the bias.
I'd suggest to use a different fabric. OR, if you successfully wear tops that fall from the bust (they make me look tent-ish or pregnant) then it might work.
I feel sad that I used this fabric for this top. I LOVE the color. It's very vibrant and would have worked really well with the greys, browns, etc of fall.
