Chado Ralph Rucci top and skirt Pattern Sizing:
6-14 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
I changed the front quite substantially but the basic shell did yes Were the instructions easy to follow?
I did not use them What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
There is a lot of pattern ease, according to the envelope I should have been a 14 but the 6 fitted fine and even then I had to fit it a little more Fabric Used:
Silk crepe de chine and some polka dot netting Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I ended up changing the bias to the grain for a more stable base to add a front drape onto for a more interesting design. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would. I bought a grey soutuche silk and some charmeuse to make another this week. Its a fairly simple sew but it looks expensive. Conclusion:
I think this is a great base pattern. Its simple with lots of possibilities, adding back panels and front drapes are just the beginning!. It will definitely become a TNT blouse jump off. Worth spending some time with a muslin getting the pattern to fit you perfectly...its a winner!
A few people asked for a quick how to on this blouse...the link is here
