Hi Lydian, I've made it as well & found that I really needed to size down & extend those bust darts so they opened at a flattering height. It was a pretty blue - pity it was cursed..

Looks like this would be a better style for a full busted woman. If you like the idea of it and want to try it again, if it were me, I'd cut a smaller size bodice and either adjust the waist by making smaller darts or taper the side seam as it seems to fit in waist area. If the back fits well, then you could try doing a small bust adjustment which is the opposite to the way you do a large bust adjustment. ...or like you say, it's cursed. lol. Perhaps they would fit a friend?

Ooooh too bad it didn't work out for you; it is quite a cute pattern. I am currently working on a 40s dress that has a somewhat similar waist treatment, so the review was very helpful. It might be the fabric isn't helping, or perhaps the photo, but those waist darts don't seem to release in the right place. Thanks for the review; it's always good to have some balance when some other reviews highly recommend something and you try it and it's not quite what you envisioned.
