Knit Top with horseshoe neckline, cap or elbow length sleeves and a seamles four-leaf-clover-shaped peplum. Pattern Sizing:
Multi-sized for full bust 30-55" and the rest of the body measurements easily customized. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes. Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions are very easy to follow, as with all the cake patterns I've tried so far. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the unusual shape of the peplum. It has a nice drape, but isn't too puffy. Fabric Used:
Cotton ponte di roma. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
None, but the way the pattern is set up, the alterations are basically built into the pattern itself. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I have made another one, and do recommend this pattern. Conclusion:
Cute top and easy to make. I made this one to go with the Pavlova skirt, also from Cake Patterns, so I don't know about the skirt part of the pattern yet.
