Pattern Description:
Misses’ pullover top with bodice and sleeve variations and optional ruffle details. Simplicity sewing pattern.
Pattern Sizing:
8 to 16. I cut a 14.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
It looked similar to the drawing on the pattern. I have narrow shoulders and a D cup.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, the instructions were easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like this top because it doesn't require a zipper or buttons.
Fabric Used:
I used Crepe - Satin backed.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made a half inch seam in the center front panel to take in the neck as it was too wide. (I tried the view with ruffles but the ruffles did not lay flat.) I also made a three inch split at the hem in each side seam to allow a bit more ease in the hip area.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I will sew it again. This garment will look nice under sweaters and be a great addition to my work wardrobe.
Conclusion:
I recommend this pattern to anyone who wants a pull over top for dressy or casual wear.

I think this is such a cute pattern. Thanks for the tip on the wide neckline. I have narrow shoulders myself and knowing if a neckline is too wide is always so helpful.
