Pullover top or tunic (fitted through bust) has draped neckline variations, bias upper fronts, and narrow hem
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes I suppose so.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, the instructions were very straightforward. It's a very easy pattern .
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I bought it because I liked the cowl neck design and options for sleeves.
Rose patterned polyester Crepe de chine from Fashion Fabric Club.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I didn't make any alterations but if I made it again I would definitely deepen the cowlneck. I found it not to hang low enough and just looks a little off because of it.
Also, the pattern is extremely boxy. I should have anticipated this based on the pattern and design, but it became more obvious after I finished it and tried it on.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Probably won't make it again, unless I decide to make View D (the other view without sleeves). I think that the top looks very maternity, especially with the sleeves.
The pattern was alright but did not flatter me at all. It is still wearable though so maybe I'll donate it. More pics on my blog.
