Owl, Butterfly and Flower Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes! I made the owl, butterfly and flower. If you click on the owl picture you will see the other quilts on my flickr page. You sew the pieces wrong sides together and then clip the seam allowances to make fringe, then wash the quilt to make the fringe ruffle! Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, but lots of little pieces. The owl was the most difficult. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The hardest part of these quilts was figuring out and purchasing the fabric. I made the front and back of the flower different patterns and that was a little challenging to figure out (for me) Fabric Used:
Cotton quilting materials from JoAnns Fabrics Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
none Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I have made all I am going to make I think. Two for my daughter and her best friend to take to college and one for a special little girl I know. Conclusion:
These came out terrific and I was so proud of them! It was fun to plan the colors. I followed the pattern colors more closely for the owl and butterfly and used my friend's favorite colors for the flower. They also wash beautifully.
