Multi-sized pattern A5(6-8-10-12-14) and E5(14-16-18-20-22)
I used a combination of sizes at different parts through out the pattern so I really appreciated the combination sizing.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, for the most part. I did leave off the belt loops.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the raised waist and the fit and those side front pockets are a nice size! There is nothing to complain about this pant pattern so no dislikes here.
Red denim for the pants, lightweight sateen for the lining.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The pant legs were shortened. I thought that I should add a wee bit of ease down the outer edge of the pant leg just below the pocket (because of the thickness of the denim) but I was wrong. I ended up taking it in back to the original shape and then a wee bit more.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
YES! and YES!
I blogged about it here.
