|I made this for my 5-yr old granddaughter who is very tiny. I made the top and the dress in size 3, and the pants in size 1. I did not make the shorts. I'm an intermediate sewist. I would not recommend this for a beginner. For one thing, the neckline on the dress is a bit difficult, especially when you put the rick-rack on. (I recommend using double-sided tape that washes out to attach the rick-rack, and then sew over it. Makes the task alot easier!) I used a cotton eyelet (from Fabric.com) for the white top. Came out nice, I'm happy with it, but it's not an easy pattern, either. The only thing that I think a beginner can possibly handle would be the shorts/pants. |
I rated it mediocre because I don't think I would make it again, however, I might come back to it in the future and give it another try - I don't know at this point in time.
