Girl's pullover top, elastic waist shorts and pullover A-line dress. I made the dress in size 12. Pattern Sizing:
Girl's 7-14 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the simple button closure, the neckline and the simple shaping. It came out shorter than I thought it would. My daughter is tall, so I will add a few inches to the hem the next time. Fabric Used:
Embroidered crinkled cotton gauze. I added sequins in the center of some of the flowers on the front of the dress after the dress was sewn. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I lined the dress with cotton broadcloth to prevent see through. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would sew it again. I recommend it. Conclusion: This is an easy pattern for beginners. The simple shape allows the fabric to be the star. You can see more here TAP blog sewing projects
