Pattern Description: I made view B, capris cargo pants in soft pink crinkle cotton.
Pattern Sizing: The pattern is a small fit.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, it did only mine were nicer. I am not into camouflage clothing.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Some parts like the zipper did not have enough detailed instruction. The front pockets were tricky to get pinned in the right place even trying to match up the circle dots.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I found the pattern fit small and the front pockets gape a little.
Fabric Used: Crinkle cotton
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:1. I should have cut the rise a little longer as the pants rest just below my hip and I like them to sit higher on my hip, so I don't have a muffin top. Variety of colours for twill tape are just not available at fabric stores, so I used the carrier pattern piece to cut from my remaining material to make the ties. It was very easy and made a successful finish to the capris.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I would recommend and I am making a 2nd pair in white cotton.
Conclusion: I am an intermediate sewer and had not sewed for over 20 years so these were my 3rd sewing project. I think they turned out well and I will wear them.
