|Pattern Description: |
S-XXL. I made the short dress in Medium.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, they were.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I liked the variety of options available, and the pockets and the self-lined sleeves in particular.
A cotton blend of some kind -- once again, a sale fabric so I'm not certain.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I didn't make any but I would definitely adjust it if I made it again.
I found it too long, I would definitely shorten it on a second try (but then I am only 5'2.) And it was quite loose around my waist so I belted it, but perhaps the loose shift is not the best pattern for my figure in any case.
Also I could put it on over my head without any trouble so I didn't make buttonholes for the shoulder buttons, just sewed them on as accents.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I'd probably try it again, and yes, it is a pretty straightforward pattern so worth recommending.
If you're tall and thin you might not need many adjustments to this pattern, but this petite person did!
