These fun stuffed animals include patterns for an owl, a bunny, a raccoon, a fox, and a reindeer. I made the owl's body from 100% cotton quilting fabric using felt for the eyes and beak.
I went strictly by the pattern instructions except for where I left the opening for stuffing. I left it open on one of the sides behind a wing instead of at the bottom because I thought that where the legs are attached at the bottom needed the extra strength of machine stitching. I closed the opening behind the wing with tiny slip stitches.
The little owl came together very quickly and would be a good project for a beginning seamstress.
