Comes out a bit big and looks like a tent.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, sort of, although it has less shape on the sides.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
No. The layout instructions for View B missed out the shoulder and yoke sections making it look as though you only needed to cut a front and back piece. Having worked out that I needed shoulder and yoke sections, I had to switch to the instructions for a different view to stitch them. Then I switched back and managed to miss the step for adding the back ties. The yoke pieces are confusing and its tricky to tell which bit goes which way round.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Way too complicated for what I was hoping would be a nice easy smart summer top. As a size 14/16 I found this an unflattering top, particularly around the bust area.
Jersey fabric with glitter pattern.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The finished top gaped at both the front and back as it came out miles too big. I ended up putting darts in to try to bring it in a bit. It still needs shaping through the sides as its a bit square.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
No and no.
Probably a very nice top if you happen to be the same size as the model on the pattern cover. For those of us with slightly more up top, this design can make you feel as though you are in maternity wear or wearing a tent.
