|Pattern Description: |
Fashion leggings, used as activewear.
I made the Small size.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Reasonably easy. Some sewing experience is necessary for this pattern.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love these leggings. I've made about four pairs now. The style of these is great, you can dress them up as I have by using different fabrics. The seaming on the front/side panels adds a nice touch.
The patterned side panels are a dance lycra from Spotlight. It originally had silver sparkles all over it however those came off in the first wash. The black main fabric is French Terry Supplex from Runners Fabrics
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I added a zip pocket to the back of these leggings, to carry my license, keys etc while I'm running. You can see the back pocket here Back Zip Pocket Next time I'll be raising the pocket higher, it's just a bit too low for my liking.
I also shortened the legs by about 10cm. This pattern runs long!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and Yes! I've made several pairs of these leggings already. They are so comfortable and look great.
This is a great pattern for running leggings, and presumably for fashion leggings as well.
