I love this pattern (I've made it 3 times) and your version just makes me want to make another one!

I have noticed that everyone on pattern review who made this dress looks fabulous in it.

Lovely-you look marvelous in this dress. I have fabric on its way for a version of the shingle/bandage dress.

Lovely version of this pattern! This is in my queue, but I had the same concerns. I will hunt for a lightweight lining and size up for sure!

The dress looks great. It fits perfectly. Great suggestion on lighter fabric.

Great suggestion on using lightweight knit for base fabric. I have this pattern next up for sewing.

I am so glad to read your review because I had noticed others made all the layers in the fashion fabric. I have some thin knits I bought for linings and I am going to use them as the base layer for this pattern. Thank you for confirming my hunch! Also, I love the sleeve length you chose.
