Pattern Sizing:
6m-3T and 4-8. This version is a 3T. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes! I love it when that happens!
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions for very easy to follow. With sleeves, a collar and a placket in the front I was worried it would be to much for my skills but the instructions take you through it step by step and I'm thrilled with the end result. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
What can I say, I love the style. It's classic but with the two views it is highly versatile. Fabric Used:
I quilting cotton from JoAnn's Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did swap out the sleeve for a pleated one from another Oliver and S pattern. I also pleated the pockets instead for gathering them. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
A resounding yes to both. Conclusion:
A lovely pattern that has stretched me a bit but didn't leave me discouraged. I am very happy with the dress and my daughter is too!
