|Pattern Description: Infant Clothing, for boys and girls, though it isn't overtly obvious that the pattern will wok for boys. Pattern includes two romper versions, darling top and dress patterns, and a cute little hat.|
Pattern Sizing: NB-XL. (XL seems to be equal to size 18-24 mos.)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, version A looks very similar to what I made for my son.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, though I think they could be more clear with explaining snap tape since this is something not everyone is apt to understand, especially if this is the first time snap tape is being used. Even more advanced sewers may never have worked with snap tape, so it may benefit more than just beginners like me!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love all the different options, and I love that the cute patterns can be made super girly or very "boy" depending on your child's gender. As a SAHM I can definitely tell you that this pattern is made with children's activity level in mind, since there is enough ease for all the bending and moving they do.
Fabric Used: Michael Miller Fun On the Vine Green. If you look closely, there are snails on the vines. I also used Babyville's monster buttons and a monster applique. They add a special something to the overall look. Everyone loves the monster buttons, especially!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, and yes.
I should have added length to the body, since my son is LONG in the torso, so I will definitely do that the next time I make it. I am going to make him a pants version for the fall in a goldfish fabric (I have goldfish buttons, btw, lol) and will not only make the legs long, but the body long too!
Conclusion: Darling little pattern that should be considered by anyone with a little baby in their life.
