Simple low-waisted skirt with waistband facing Pattern Sizing:
I have 10-18, cut the largest size but shorter length, which on my short body is knee length. It is a bit on the larger side in the hips, but this is common for my body. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes. Were the instructions easy to follow?
Actually, I didn't even need them. I stitched it up, installed an invisible zip and added the facing. Super simple sew. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Love that I can whip one of these up in a hurry. Not exactly a pencil skirt, but could modify the bottom to be so. Fabric Used:
African print cotton in stash. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Not sure if this called for an invisible zip, but that is how I did it. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I will definitely keep this one in my file as a quick, easy skirt. Conclusion:
Good go-to simple skirt for wardrobe building.
