Great dress on you! I am in the process of making this pattern as well, just with the other bodice style and the shorter version of the skirt. Thank you for your helpful review!

Hi, I read your blog about the FBA. You are probably right - it would have worked better if youíd taken the bother. Personally, I wouldnít go by the difference between upper and centre bust measurements as much as bra cup size and your personal experience. Remember, they are guides and usually most helpful to those that donít know their own build well. I used to just add a bit of width under the sleeve and add a bit of front length instead of the FBA adjustment. Then Iíd bitch that things didnít hang nicely. I recently bought a pattern that has 3 fronts: A/B cup, and C and D. I tissue fitted them all and was really amazed at the difference in the shape and hang of the front. Iíve decided to take the time to do it right from now on. Over the years, Iíve learned that the old, traditional methods of sewing are almost always worth the little bits of extra time they take. Ever wonder why itís your favorite clothes that actually wear out? LOL. Also, like the big bright print!
