Multi-sized shorts, knickers and long pants for children, sizes 2-6. I made the long pants in size 2.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Pretty much so. I had some contrasting fabric, but other than that, yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
They seemed to be fine. I didn't really use them.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I saw a review for this pattern here and loved the contrast she used. My dd went to Auburn and my other dd is at Clemson. My two older grandsons wear the same size pants, so I made the pants the same except for the contrast.
A striped linen I found at Hancock's. There was a remnant piece for $2.50 that I used and got both pairs out of the piece. Yay!
The contrasts are collegiate bandana fabrics. I also used the leftover to make them hankie sized bandanas, about 10" square.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I didn't make the legs with the added lower band, just put them together to cut out.
I used a contrast for pocket linings and back pockets.
