Pattern Description: Close-fitting and flared, pullover tunic has front variations, shaped hemline and narrow hem. Wrong side shows on back hemline. C and D: collar.
Designed for lightweight Two-way Stretch Knits.
I made view D, but with 3/4 length sleeves.
Pattern Sizing: XS - XXL. I made a size M (12-14).
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Sort of. I removed the swing at the hem but, otherwise, yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The overlapped front and the uneven hem captured me. I did not like the giant swing hem on ME, so I removed that. (It would work for others.)
Fabric Used: A novelty striped knit. I think it's a cotton lycra blend.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I removed the swing from the hem. I did a vertical-only FBA. I cut the sleeves and collar perpendicular to the suggested cutting layout. I twisted the collar to give it more body (the fabric was quite limp). Since I removed the shaping at CB, I cut the back pattern piece on the fold.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Definitely! I liked this top very much! And it was a very quick sew!
