Pattern Description: Men's Lined Vest, Shirt, Tie In Two Lengths and Bow Tie
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Very much so, I think!
Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes, they were! I made a muslin first as it was only my second button-down shirt and it fit my husband very well with only some alterations on the neck and cuffs.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It's very classic and this shirt goes together well.
Fabric Used:Burberry blue herringbone stripe cotton shirting and white cotton shirting for the contrast collar and cuffs
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:Just on the collar and the location of the buttonholes on the cuffs
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Definitely!!!! My husband says its very comfortable to wear.
Conclusion: This is a great shirt pattern. I used the shirt design with the contrast collar, collar stays and french cuffs with the cuff links. I didn't make the button cuff links and we have many vintage cuff links from my grandpa. I will be making this again! I love how men's shirts go together and how most of the seams are sewn into the shirt and hidden, plus sewing the sleeve on flat is great.
