|Pattern Description: Misses dress in two lengths with skirt variations|
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?I did a hybrid but pretty much
Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes, it's a well written pattern
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It goes together very easily and I like different combinations that are possible with few pattern pieces.
Fabric Used:poly crepe
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I sewed a 10 bodice and and 12 skirt. The straight skirt was a no-go for my figure so I switched to the pleated full skirt which worked very well in the fabric. I added 12 inches to the length of this skirt since that option isn't included. I used an invisible zipper (usually my choice for a back zip) rather than a lapped one. I also tacked the bodice because the plunge of the pattern was a little risque for me!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Actually this is a wearable muslin for my wedding dress. The next will likely be in a crepe de chine. Wedding November 9th...better get a move on!
Conclusion: I really like this one and happily recommend it.
