Pattern Sizing: Lekala has you enter your own measurements and drafts the pattern to fit.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes it does.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Sort of. There are no pictures and I think the instructions have been translated into English so some of the words don't make sense. Having said that though its a simple pattern and if you just go off the pattern notches it all fits together fine.
Fabric Used: Ponte knit
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Even though the patterns are made to size its only the bust, waist and hip measurements so I needed to add 1" to the bicep width. I also did a 1" FBA which I rotated into the front gathers.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I might sew it again and yes I would recommend it.
Conclusion: This is a very close fitting jacket, I didn't measure it before I sewed it up but it has either no or slightly negative ease. I normally go off the high bust measurements on patterns and do a FBA but since Lekala go from the full bust measurement I've had trouble with them being too big in the shoulders on me. Because this was so close fitting though I found it fit really well through the shoulders and I needed to do a FBA anyway. Having said all that though, I would have to say that this is the best fitting Lekala pattern I've made to date!
