Pattern Description: Pajama and robe pattern for boys and girls.
Pattern Sizing:1/2 - 8. I used a size 6 based on my 6 year-old granddaughter's measurements. It just fit with little or no wiggle room.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were basic and easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? My daughter called me on Monday saying that my granddaughter needed a "scrubs" outfit for school on Friday. This is actually a pajama pattern, but worked fine to make a quick scrubs outfit. I really liked the top with its surplice neckline. Single fold bias tape is used instead of facings, which was quick and easy. The pants went together in a jiffy with only two pattern pieces and elastic in the waist.
Fabric Used:I used some cotton quilting fabric I had on hand for the top and bought an inexpensive cotton/polyester blend for the pants.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:The pattern had long sleeves, which I shortened to make short sleeves. The pattern called for a loop made with bias tape as a closure on the back of the top. I used a snap instead.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes, I will definitely be using this pattern again. My grandsons need pajama pants and these are quick and easy.
Conclusion: This was a really good pattern choice for this last minute project.
