|Pattern Description: |
Misses' & Miss petite dress has pleated skirt, tie belt and buttoned neck slit opening with collar. Below knee length A has halter top and is made in lace; knee length B has short raglan sleeves.
12, 14, 16, 18, 20
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
No, but that's because I omitted the collar and turned the neckline into a sweetheart neckline.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes. The pleating took a while to figure out initially, but once I got started it was pretty brainless.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I used a directional vintage cotton.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I omitted the collar and attempted a sweetheart neckline, but I couldn't figure out exactly how to do it, so it ended up looking super wonky.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I really really want to sew this again and attempt the collar this next time.
This is a great pattern that's relatively easy and flattering.
I also have it here on my blog.
