Very pretty! I think the longer length will look nice with slacks. Yes, I think there's a reason to do a FBA on a princess seam just as much as any style. I purchased a Simplicity Amazing Fit shirt pattern - side darts and A, B, C, D fronts. It sold me on taking the time to do a proper FBAs adjustment instead of adding into the seam line and front length! Each front piece made a huge difference in the hang and shape of the shirt, even in the tissue fitting. I also purchased a princess pattern which has no guides. Thanks for the tip re the Mc Call's P & P patterns for next time.
