|Pattern Description: pullover tunics or dress have semi-fitted, pleated upper front,loose-fitting lower front and back; dress is slightly flared, below mid-knee length; semi-fitted, pull-on pants have tapered legs. I made the tunic and pants.|
Pattern Sizing:18W-24W. I made a 24W
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Pretty easy, in spite of the rather odd pleating at the bust and the surprising sleeves.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Once I sorted out the bust and sleeves on the tunic it was amazingly easy to sew and looks amazing. Only five pieces, too. I liked how long the tunic is because it falls beautifully from below my bust right over my gigantic stomach and camouflages both said stomach and my bottom
Fabric Used: Polyester/lycra knit
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I ripped out the topstitching on the bust pleats and it sat much better. I thought I'd have to sew the bust closed a little but it worked pretty well. For the pants I redrafted the pattern to have wider legs.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I loved it! Just from the pattern envelope I didn't have high hopes but it sewed up quickly, is very flattering on me and is a great wardrobe builder. I look forward to making the jacket and the dress!
Conclusion: Love it!
