The fabric absolutely made this work for you. Lovely jacket, great pic. I agree w/others -- yours is better than original model ;)

Thanks Mauude ...It looks so great and even on your blog I couldn't really tell if the back was longer. I can't wait to try it! Thanks for responding! Vickie

RadarRadience : No, I didn't adjust the back length. It doesn't look longer in the back because during the photo shot, I had my cellphone and some batteries in my pockets so it gives some weight in the front. If you go take a look on my blog, you will see that it's longer in the back: http://mpbymaude.blogspot.ca/2013/09/amelia-pond-like-name-in-fairy-tale.html

OK......need to ask, love your jacket and just picked up the pattern. Like the longer length of view C with the pockets like yours. On the pattern envelope it looks longer in the back but on your version modeled it doesn't look longer in the back? Did you adjust the back length of follow the pattern? Thanks for any advise! ;-)

Love, love. It looks terrific on you. This looks like a great alternative to the Minoru if you don't want to deal with a lining.

What a great job you have done on your jacket! It certainly doesn't look like an easy jacket to make.
