Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
It looked very similar although more simplified due to the parts i left out on purpose.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I lost the instructions, but it is pretty easy to figure out the main pieces and all the sewing is just straight lines except for the slight curve on the flap.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the size of it and that it has a flap. The bottom is just basic squared off corners. I think its a bit floppy but that's my own fault for not interfacing. Over all fantastic pattern and sewed up in just a part of a day so pretty quick without the pockets.
quilting cotton in paisley floral, and a salmon swirls for the lining
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I was heading to the library in the evening and sick of using the plastic grocery bags so decided to make a quick book bag. I did view B but didn't use any interfacing, no pockets. It's just the basic bag, lining and flap.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yep already have some fabric to try making a nicer version with the pocket and interfacing. The bag is a great size and the sewing on it is really beginner. Almost all straight lines. The size is perfect for a book bag. lots of space in it and kind of floppy.
only thing i might change is the strap since i grabbed whatever i found in my drawer and its a bit thin and not sure how strong it will be. Otherwise i love it.

Fantastic pattern great for beginner or even older children to sew up for project. Great size to it and cute.
