I love the yoke on this top and I didn't dislike anything about it. Fabric Used:
Cotton lawn bought for £2 from my local market. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made my own bias binding and used the bias binder foot on my sewing machine to attach it. I made 1/2 inch bias binding but I think it could have been a bit wider as it was a bit uneven not helped by the fact that it was the first time I'd used the BB attachment on my sewing machine. I will find out what all these mysterious gadgets are that came with the machine and I will use them Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would definitely sew this again, I love, love, love it Conclusion:
I love this pattern, as others have said it took quite a lot of time to get the yoke on. I thought this was going to be a quick patten to make but it took me the best part of the day to run this up and it was well worth it. I tried it on without the belt and it made me look like a sack of spuds but that's probably because I'm quite plumptious once I added the belt it looked fine. Well I think it did anyway
