Sorry I missed the question! I think they would work well in wool but maybe go down a size or so, these are a loose fit to go over regular clothes.

Very professional results, I am inspired to try this pattern. My son wants it done in heavy wool coating (he drives snow plow route), and also insulated. Wish me luck on that last detail!

I experienced a bit of nostalgia seeing this pattern. My Dad used to wear these when working around his horses. I now live in an urban environment and so haven't seen any in years. Looks like you did a great job!
