Pattern Description: Drop pocket open front cardigan that hits just below the hips. The sleeve is fitted and designed to be worn over a sleeveless top or dress. The double-layer front provides a great finish and allows the use of constrast fabric where the inside of the cardigan becomes the outside of the pocket. A quick "instant gratification" project!
Pattern Sizing:27 sizes
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions as always are fabulous. Photos and written descriptions.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I love cardigans and I'm always drawn to uniquely constructed items.
Fabric Used:The main fabrics is kind of a sweater knit from Emmaonesock that I bought on a whim last sale she had. It's beautiful. The inside facings is a nice rayon ponte knit. These fabrics are probably heavier than what was intended but I knew that going in. This is more structured than drapery but it turned out just how I imagined it would.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:None! I love it when there are no alterations.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes, most definitely.
Conclusion: This is a fun, unique pattern and I am so surprised more people haven't made it up. It fits beautifully and isn't big and bulky like lots of cardigans are. This is going into my TNT pile!
