|Pattern Description: Suit with pants and jacket that princess seams, peplum with pleats in front & gathers in back and notched collar.|
Pattern Sizing: 10-20
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes. The finished garment looks like the pattern envelope\'s photograph.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were easy to follow, except for the front fly zipper on the pants. Fly zippers set me in panic mode, so I did what I know: mock fly.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved the petite sizing. No need to make adjustments due to length. The jacket went together very easily and of course, the pattern was right on technically perfect.
Fabric Used: Gabardine / Polyester.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I adjusted for sway back, but otherwise, the fit was great.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I might sew it again, but first I\'d need some lessons putting in a front fly zipper.
Conclusion: Polyester is not a forgiving fabric. Still, this suit doesn\'t look too bad.
