I made a wiggle dress, but the other option is a full skirt.
I cut a size 4 on top and a size 8 on the bottom - though I should have cut a size 10 as there is no ease.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy, though since it's an easy pattern I didn't really follow the directions beyond the first few steps.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
It's so simple and so flattering.
I used a quilting cotton which is really nice and gives a lot of structure to the dress. I intended it to be a nice winter dress, so I also like that it's heavier.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I modified the straps so that they would go over my shoulder instead of off the shoulder. I also added 5 inches to the vent in the back for easier walking.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, absolutely! This pattern is so simple and so easy to sew and it's so flattering. I love it and plan on making other versions!
This is simple and adorable pattern from Bluegingerdoll. I absolutely love it, as well as her other pattern. I highly recommend this, especially for beginners! If you're interested, I have more pictures and information on my blog.
