Great job with your Burda challenge. I think I would have a hard time with recent editions picking something, but these pants are great (yeah for the Seventies!, better than Eighties right? lol).

These look lovely, kemish. Burda pants tend to fit me well too. As for the pockets, I always stress with these diagonal pockets that they re going to gape. This is because the edge of the pocket is on the bias, which is an invitation to stretch. Tape is a good idea next time, but I would also make the diagonal edge of the pocket a cm or so shorter than it theoretically should be. So, if you lay the pocket on the front leg piece, it actually doesn't quite reach where the diagonal edge should meet the side seam. This will pull that edge in while you are wearing the pants. You could open the side seam a bit even now and pull the edge tighter before restitching.
