|Pattern Description: |
Casual T-shirt short dress in 3 lengths or a top
XS-M or L-XXL. I made a large.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Very much so, although I lengthened the short sleeves to just above the elbow.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy, and came together quickly.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
This was an easy fit- I didn't even need to make a shoulder adjustment. I was able to use the "large" from shoulder to hem!
Two way stretch wavy striped textured poly knit.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
As stated above, I lengthened the cap sleeve to just above the elbow...more flattering on a flabby arm.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
This dress could easily be adapted to a winter version with long sleeves and a heavier t-shirt knit. I would definitely recommend this pattern for an easy casual dress.
Very easy pattern. I did not yet finish this dress, only because I can't get the buttonholer to work...my error, I'm sure. Also, the sleeves and hemline are not hemmed because I didn't get a chance to use my coverstitch yet. However, since these are not a result of pattern directions or errors, I was comfortable writing this as a completed garment.
