Pattern Description: Maternity tops and pants. I made the long-sleeved top (view A) and the long trousers (view C).
Pattern Sizing: I made the long-sleeved top in size 12 even though my bust measurement is a size 16 according to the sizing chart. I chose size 12 by comparing the pattern with another maternity top that fit during my entire first pregnancy. I made the pants in size 12 at the waist and size 8 in the legs because the pattern seemed huge! And the finished pants are still pretty big at the bottom (and I have large thighs!).
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes. (Pictures are at 21 weeks.)
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the neckline in the top. I'm not a big fan of maternity pants a front panel only but I have to admit that I don't need to pull them up all the time when I'm walking!
Fabric Used: kasmir knit for the top and corduroy for pants.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made the top longer in the front by cutting the front to length A and the back to length B. I gathered the sides of the front to give a look that is a bit less tent-like.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes
Conclusion: This pattern is great to build a maternity wardrobe. I need a winter maternity wardrobe because I made through my first pregnancy in summer dresses. But be careful with the sizing because the tops and pants are huge!
