Wrap Dress Pattern Sizing:
I cut a 10, straight up Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes! Were the instructions easy to follow?
For the most part. although I HATE how they tell you to do a narrow hem on knits. I used light bias fusible interfacings strips and topstitched with a narrow zigzag instead. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Love how it used the border print, and I really liked the inverted pleats on the skirt. Fabric Used:
ITY jersey from fabric.com. It's bright and fun. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Took about 1 inch out of the sleevecaps and set the sleeves in flat. I added some light fusible interfacing where the tie comes through on the right. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, and yes. If doing it again, I'd open up the armscye since I have big shoulders, and I might lengthen the bodice by a smidgen. Conclusion:
Very easy and fun to wear. I wear it with a slip, but it's much more secure than I feared. BTW can ANYONE teach me how to use clear elastic? I tried on the front edges but I can never get that stuff to work for me.
