|Pattern Description: Misses' pull-on skirts with length variations.|
Pattern Sizing: 8-16, 16-24 (I chose 18 for my pregnant friend who would normally wear a 14.)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, almost exactly, especially since the fabric was so similar.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The gathers for View A, which has 4 tiers attached to a yoke, are endless! By tier 4, approx. 280" wide, I was getting a little weary from distributing them. The end result, though, is very pretty.
Fabric Used: 100% cotton purchased on sale 1/2 price from Hancock's.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added buttonholes to the casing to allow for a drawstring to be added so that the waist could be adjusted during pregnancy.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes to both, but I'm not sure I'll do View A again. All those tiers are a pain!
Conclusion: A very sweet skirt, easy to assemble. Just be sure you have the time, and patience, to deal with all that gathering for View A.
